gate on Central Expressway in Dallas, Texas is located in a sound wall
along the freeway. It provides access into an apartment complex for
emergency vehicles. The gate weighs approximately 10,000 pounds, and is
moved by a 2 hp. gate operator. The gate is operated by a S.O.S. siren
activated entry system. It utilizes magnetic inductance hold loops, Photo
cells for hold, and a Miller's Edge as an additional safety. |
