| This is an exceptionally large estate, (The main house is
over 31,000 sq ft.) and utilizes six, 12 volt dc battery powered,
articulating arm swing gate operators on three different gates. It was very important that
there be access in the event of a power outage or other emergency. The
battery powered operators
will continue to function normally in the event of a power outage. These gate presented a
challenge with 4 foot columns, and 18" wing panels to the gate hinge. Notice the
specially designed extended linkage allowed placement of the operators a significant
distance from the hinge. Additionally the point of attachment is extremely low on the
gate, maintain a low visual impact on these magnificent gates. |

Installations Using Battery Powered Operators |

| This set of gates on another estate, uses 12
volt battery powered linear drive operators. It has one controller and two linear actuators.
This design follows our goal of visually low impact operators. Notice how the actuator arm is
virtually hidden behind the post and cross members. This operator is a 12 volts dc
battery powered commercial operator, providing constant service in the event of a power
outage. This installation utilizes telephone entry with cctv camera, radio transmitters
and receiver, free exit and hold loops, and maglock. |

| This gate is located at the side entrance of one of Dallas' more prestigious
residences. The gate operator is a 3/4 hp slide
gate operator. The v-track ornamental gate is controlled by a DoorKing model 1812 phone
entry system, timer to close, free exit loop, and photocell to hold. |

These are the front gates for the previous Dallas residence, utilizing
two swing gate operators, in a master-slave
configuration. Access is controlled by a DoorKing model 1812 phone entry system, timer to
close, and both hold and free exit loops. Loops were installed in the grooves of the
patterned drive, and sealer to match the concrete pigment was used to seal the loops. |

Another Dallas Residence, but using slide gate operators
in a master-slave configuration. Gate is controlled by a DoorKing 1812
with pin hole camera. The CCTV plays through an unused channel on the
homes cable system. Other controls include radio transmitter, free exit
and hold loops, and timer to close. |
